Riding Goals for Q3 & Q4 2008
So anyhoo...just trying to motivate myself here.
The weather has been nuts the past few weeks - we had a lot of wind - too much for me to handle on a bike ride - and then nasty thunderstorms. Isn't Texas weather the best? I guess I should consider use fortunate, at least I don't have to worry about floods like a good part of the country right now!
Trying to put together some goals for riding again. Given my crazy schedule, I don't usually have much in me to go for a ride after work. Also, I am sooooo not a morning person! IF I could do that, then I could probably squeeze in a good bit of riding during the work week. But the chances of that happening in the near future are Slim and None. And Slim is out of town.
So I am thinking perhaps of trying to hit 10 miles a week. Yes, I know...very whimpy - but I am trying to be realistic here. So for Q3 2008 - I will try to hit a total of 130 miles.
If I can do that, I will see if I can ramp it up a little for Q4.
